As the urgency of climate change intensifies, one group often overlooked in sustainability efforts is older adults—despite their potential to drive impactful change. Many seniors face barriers such as social isolation, health challenges, or limited mobility, and the lack of targeted programs further exacerbates their exclusion. Yet, their perspectives, skills, and creativity, particularly when expressed through art, hold immense untapped value.

About the Seniors Climate Action E-learning Platform

The Seniors Climate Action (SCA) project aims to harness this potential by empowering senior visual artists across the EU to become active voices for climate awareness and change. Through an engaging e-learning course, participants gain essential knowledge on climate issues, sustainable practices, and digital tools, enabling them to influence change through their creative work. By fostering lifelong learning, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas, SCA creates a supportive space where senior artists can amplify their voices and contribute meaningfully to addressing the planet’s most critical environmental challenges.
